To Los Angeles
I'm finally back home after 10 days in LA.
I've been pretty MIA these past couple weeks, but I'm trying to get back into the swing of things and it's far from easy. I have a lot to say about my time in LA, but I'll try to keep things short.
It was my first time in the west coast...
and it was beautiful to say the least. My schedule was packed, but I was able to experience so much in a short amount of time. I met some of the greatest people and had the opportunity to work with some talented artists. When I say I didn't want to leave, I really mean it. I've never felt so motivated and driven to do what I do. I took advantage of every opportunity to learn and grow as a creative, and I'm far more confident in what I do because of it. I'm super proud of how far I've come and how much I've grown in a matter of days, and I have to say, I did my BEST work during my stay.
This trip involved a lot of walking
and even though my feet were dying every night, I was able to explore so much of LA. We visited so many places (touristy and non-touristy), but the LACMA has been on my list for the longest time and my face lit up brighter than the lights. If you watched my Insta-stories at the time, you saw I went a little boomerang crazy. However, I was already hyped up from the tacos I ate prior to getting there...
I'd move to LA for the food alone.
Usually I'm indecisive of what I want to eat because my lack of choices, but over there, I was so overwhelmed by all my options that I could never decide what I wanted. I was in the mood for everything all the time!!
You know I had to have my dessert. The macaroon ice cream sandwiches from Milk were absolutely delicious. Except for the green tea rose. That one tasted like perfume. Justin and I split a third Thai tea flavored one and that one was by far the best. We also came across the most perfect matcha bubble tea at Urth Cafe in Santa Monica. That drink was bomb. It was full of matcha ice cream and chocolate goodness. I highly recommend.
LA, you have my heart & soul...
I can't wait to visit again and I'm so excited to show you everything I've done and all the projects I've been working on. Thank you to everyone that's been supporting me through this whole journey. I'm more driven and focused than ever and I hope to make you all proud. Stay tuned! So much more to come!
